In this trip you’ll mix the hiking opportunities with Moldavian traditions and you’ll have the opportunity to see the most beautiful cultural sites of Romania – the painted monasteries from Bucovina part of the world heritage and the UNESCO patrimony.

Discover baroque Transylvania

Visite comprese:

Arrival to Cluj. At the airport/bus station you will meet your local guide and driver.
Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Lunch.
If time permits we will have a walking city tour of Cluj Napoca, the only baroque city in Romania and the former capital of Transylvania.
Visit St. Michael Cathedral,
the Orthodox Cathedral
the Memorial House of Matei Corvin, where the most important Hungarian King, was born as well as other interesting places.

Discovering Bukovina

Visite comprese:

Departure to Moldova - the heart of Romanian Orthodoxy.
Pass through Maramures, one of the most traditional regions in Romania.
See different wooden churches (such as those from Surdesti, Birsana)
Have a typical Maramures lunch in a local family’s house.
Drive along the Bistrita River, admiring painted houses with geometric motives.
Arrival at Vama, (in the heart of Bucovina) where we’ll stay for the following days.
The first short sightseeing tour of the village.

Painted Monasteries

Visite comprese:

Depart to the Moldovita monastery where we’ll meet a nun who will explain us all about the paintings of the orthodox world, specifically those from the Bucovina area.
Next visit - Sucevita monastery.
Lunch will be served near the monastery in a picturesque place.
Visit the famous ceramic center from Marginea and return to our host.
Special dinner together with the family.

Light day

Visite comprese:

Visit a sheepfold by carriage.
Have a lunch that you will never forget.
Afternoon free for activities: badminton, football, volleyball and other games. A very light dinner will help us have a good night.

Hardworking day

Visite comprese:

Walk in the Rarau Mountains, this means we will cover the first 20 km of the road by bus and then hike to the Rarau chalet. The hiking part takes about 3 to 4 hours.
Lunch at the chalet
Return late in the afternoon to our host.
In this evening we will learn how to paint Easter eggs. It will be a unique experience.

Cultural bomb

Visit Dragomirna Monastery
Walk for one hour to the lake and have a picnic there
Visit the bishop church from Suceava, the former capital of Moldavia
Visit Voronet and Humor monasteries

A small folk band sing and dance for you.

On Dracula's footsteps

Visite comprese:

Departure to Cluj.
Drive through Borgo pass, the famous pass mentioned in Bram Stoker’s book “Dracula“
Lunch at Dracula Motel /or “Coroana de Aur” in Bistrita, also mentioned in the book.
Arrival in Cluj and overnight in the same 4* Hotel as in the first day.
Farewell dinner.

Cara Victoria,

Ti prego di accettare il mio segno di ringraziamento e apprezzamento. Ho avuto la fortuna, nel corso degli anni, di aver viaggiato in molte destinazioni e di aver provato ogni tipo di guida. Secondo me sei proprio in cima, uno dei pochissimi selezionati che riescono a "farlo bene".

Come ogni lavoro specializzato, guidare è qualcosa che, se fatto bene, sembra facile! Io e te sappiamo che non è così; è una professione dura ed esigente che pochi individui svolgono adeguatamente e ancora meno bene. Quasi nessuno fa un lavoro così eccezionale che i suoi clienti si sentono curati, sicuri, apprezzati e speciali. A mio avviso, sei uno di quei rari leader del tour.

Per favore, accetta il mio piccolo segno di gratitudine. Sei stato gentile, leggero, comprensibile (estremamente), premuroso, tollerante, efficiente, affidabile ... Potrei continuare, ma per risparmiare i tuoi arrossimenti finirò dicendo che non riesco a trovare una sola critica (questa è una cosa rara per me - Ho standard molto elevati!).

La tua azienda dipende per il suo successo nel mantenere ciò che ha promesso. Lo hai fatto professionalmente con un sorriso, un senso dell'umorismo e una grata dignità.

Ti auguro tutta la fortuna del mondo per il futuro e grazie per avermi lasciato non solo ricordi felici ma con un'impressione positiva della Moldavia.

Il viaggio è stato davvero organizzato al meglio. Strutture, veicolo, autista e soprattutto la guida Cristina molto brava! La Moldavia è molto piacevole, specialmente i monasteri. Siamo tornati addirittura da un viaggio gastronomico un po'alticci. I vini e la cucina sono proprio buoni!
